Worm castings can be highly beneficial to your soil quality and garden especially if your soil is lacking nutrients.
Worm castings balance the PH of your soil as well as help it to maintain water but you can overdo it. Worm castings should be mixed into your soil in a 2:1 ratio. 2 parts soil 1 part worm castings. Due to the worm castings being very light and maintaing water so well to much can make your soil unstable and to moist which can harm your plants but if used correctly worm castings can be one of the best things you do for your garden.
It is recommended to mix worm castings into your garden once a month at first and then quarterly then down to 1-2 times per year as your garden progresses and your soil gets healthier.
