Are wormville's live worms safe for reptiles and amphibians?

Updated: Oct 6, 2022

This is a common question that we get a lot here at Wormville and as a reptile owner myself I can assure you that you are perfectly safe to feed our live worms to your pet.

I've owned reptiles since I was in the 5th grade and still have that very same pet snake named popcorn to this day. I've also grew up being around turtles, frogs, and lizards that my mom has had over the years which need a variety of foods but the foods also need to be safe and trusting a place to have quality food that won't hurt your pet can be difficult sometimes.

No chemicals used on any of the worms food.

Chemicals hurt animals so they would also hurt our worms so no chemicals are used whatsoever on any of our worms food. The food is actually grown right here at the Wormville farm so we know for a fact that no one is using any chemicals, fertlizers, pesticides, etc on it.

Our bedding is 100% all natural.

The bedding that the worms are grown and packaged in is Peat Moss that we farm ourselves in florida. It also has to be safe for our worms so it has no pesticides, chemicals, etc in it. The peat is also a part of our wormganic worm castings which can also not have any chemicals in it because it would throw off the PH value of it which would make it to where it couldn't do what it's suppose to.

"All our worms are fed a strict diet of Non-GMO corn silage, grown onsite to insure each and every bag contains the same high quality castings. We produce a rich, earthly texture castings which produce outstanding results with zero chemicals. 100% all Natural." - Owner of Wormville

As a long time reptile owner I can assure you that your pets will be perfectly safe consuming Wormville's live worms as everything we do here at Wormville is chemical free and Non-GMO.

You can purchase our Wormville Reds online at Cheif Reptile.
